The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at various stages of progression, demonstrating strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills. The role requires independent and productive work, a keen interest in advancing a career in litigation, and a commitment to producing high-quality legal work. The associate attorney will also play a role in business management and development. Duties:Simultaneously handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters from inception to conclusion.Communicate effectively with attorneys and clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.Work independently and productively, showcasing a commitment to advancing a career in litigation.Produce quality legal work and bill the required hours to ensure excellent client service.Manage business aspects and contribute to business generation efforts individually and within a group.Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Preferably a graduate of a Top 25 law school or in the top 10% of the graduating class from an accredited law school.Positions on the law school’s premier law journal are a plus.Commercial litigation expertise is required.Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Florida.Must maintain applicable license renewal and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements. Experience:5-8 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or through clerking. Skills:Strong attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Independence and productivity in legal work.Business management and development skills.High ethical standards.
