The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in handling various types of construction contracts, including EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply, and operation and maintenance contracts. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent drafting abilities, and a keen interest in the energy sector.Duties:Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, including EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply, and operation and maintenance.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on transactional matters related to global projects in the energy industry.Manage a team of legal professionals, working closely with a partner and supervising junior associates.Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and compliance with legal requirements.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Minimum of 3 or more years of experience working on construction contracts, preferably in the energy industry.Proven track record of managing complex legal matters and leading teams.Strong drafting skills and contract analysis capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze and synthesize new information quickly and effectively.Self-motivated with a commitment to providing excellent substantive work and client service.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts.Legal research and analysis skills.Leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information.Strong client service orientation.Familiarity with the energy industry and related legal frameworks is preferred.
