The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Pediatric Cardiologist, All Ranks The Department of Pediatrics is expanding and recruiting a full-time, board-certified, or board-eligible Pediatric Cardiologist. Join our dynamic and collegial team of pediatric cardiovascular specialists who are part of a major academic health system at University Hospital.University of Missouri Health Care's Children's Hospital offers the only pediatric cardiology program in mid-Missouri, providing state-of-the-art treatment for both congenital and acquired cardiovascular defects and diseases. We treat heart and vascular conditions in fetuses, infants, and children. Job Details 90% Clinical, 10% Teaching Teaching responsibilities for medical students and house staff directing patient care. Perform all your own test interpretations Predominately consult work Read tests - Echo, EKG, ECG, & Stress Tests Level 3 NICU Call: 1 in 3 Home Call Divided evenly with partners Opportunities for creating and participating in opportunities for clinical and translational research. IAC accredited pediatric echo lab with pediatric sonographer who also takes call Qualifications BC/BE, MD/DO Successful completion of ACGME accredited pediatric residency and fellowship program in cardiology. All applicants must be licensed in MO or eligible for licensure in MO. Non-tenure track; Rank will be commensurate with experience Preferred Qualifications: Interests or experience in fetal cardiology, clinical and/or research opportunities in preventative cardiology.
