Job Description: Duplicate, diagnose and repair full range of automotive service issues found on all makes and models of vehicles including those of all electrical systems, engine, transmission, suspension, braking system, emission systemPerform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major componentsRepair & replace brake pads, steering, suspension components, wheel bearings, exhaust systems, heating and cooling systems, air conditioning, drive train, and accessory installations.Complete repairs efficiently and accurately, following manufacturer guidelines and specifications.Able to articulate findings to management to review and present to customer.Keeping your work area as well as surrounding shop space clean.Performs all duties in a safe manner, immediately reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to managementBe punctual for work, ready and able to perform essential job functions.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Requirements: ASE Certified TechnicianManufacturer Certifications a plusMust have own tools2-3 years Experience as a MechanicMust have a Valid Driver?s License Physical Demands: Occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds This suggests that the job requires moderate physical ability. The employee needs to be able to move around, bend, and exert some force on a regular basis. While the weight limit for lifting isn't excessive, the variety of postures involved could require good overall physical fitness and stamina.
