Gastroenterology physician employment in Illinois : Locums Urbana, Illinois, Gastroenterology Opening Clinical Role: Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees! June 2024 Ongoing Need 24/hr. Call Monday 7a-Monday 7a (Inpatient rounding, endoscopy, and call Minimum of two weeks per month Consult service--not primary admitting. After-hours transfer calls, lower/upper endoscopy for urgent needs.) Patient Population: 100% Adult, Geriatrics; Mixed Payer Cases Per Day: Inpatient rounding: up to 40 patients on services with avg of 11 consults per day; Overnight/Weekend/Transfer calls avg 10-11 procedures per weekend Support Staff: 5 dedicated APP for inpatient service; 7 days a week APP inpatient coverage (2-3 per weekday and 1 on weekend) Work and Call Schedule: Monday 0700 Monday 0700. Inpt rounding, endoscopy, and calls through the full week of coverage. Consult service not primary admitting. After hours transfer calls, lower and upper endoscopy for urgent needs. Procedures Required: Colonoscopy and EGD. Number of Beds: 489 Trauma Level I EMR: Epic Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Gastroenterology, MD or DO Active IL License, DEA, and CS Required ACLS Required Proof of Covid Required We are only considering candidates that are Already Actively licensed in Illinois; will need DEA and CS licenses as well.
