We are designing and building a one:of:a:kind facility that will turn radioactive and chemical waste left over from World War II and Cold War plutonium production into a form safe for disposal. Your efforts will help protect the nearby Columbia River and the communities, salmon, and wildlife along its shorelines throughout the Northwest. Sitting at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima rivers near two mountain ranges, our community provides access to year:round outdoor recreation, 300 days of sun a year, more than 200 wineries within a 50:mile radius, and the amenities of large cities just a three:hour drive (or short flight) to Seattle and Portland. Full:Time In Office: This position is a full:time role located in the Richland, Washington project office, and works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off. Position Summary: Under direct supervision, provides security services and technical assistance to assigned project, jobsite, office, or functional/services unit activities.Assists in managing protection programs and complying with specific governmental standards and/or regulatory requirements.Assists in developing and providing security master plans, security criteria, and technical information to assigned project, jobsite, office, or functional/services unit.Liaises with and maintains an effective working relationship with assigned projects.Helps advise Security and project management concerning security program progress, problem areas, and remedial actions. Basic Qualifications: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of progressive experience.:Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Must be able to complete and pass a pre:employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.:Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. Responsibilities: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Helps conduct security surveys and audits to ensure compliance with security programs; helps identify and report discrepancies and may recommend corrective action through appropriate reporting relationship.Informs immediate supervisors of the status of the security program and problem areas and may provide recommendations for remedial action.:Assists in the implementation of company procedures for guarding internal security data to meet the standards and regulatory requirements specified by government contracts.Helps administer security activities related to securing and controlling Bechtel and client pr
