We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Sober Living House Manager in Huntington, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our sober living facility, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents on their journey to recovery from addiction. Responsibilities: Resident Support: Provide guidance, support, and encouragement to residents as they navigate the challenges of recovery. Assist residents in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals. Facility Management: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sober living house. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Administrative Duties: Manage resident intake processes, including conducting interviews, completing paperwork, and coordinating move-in logistics. Maintain accurate records of resident information, treatment plans, and progress. Crisis Management: Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or conflicts that arise within the facility. Implement appropriate protocols for managing crises and ensuring the safety of residents. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with local community organizations, treatment providers, and support groups. Coordinate and facilitate events, workshops, and activities aimed at promoting recovery and wellness. Staff Supervision: Provide supervision and support to staff members, including residential aides and support staff. Delegate tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the facility. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred. Previous experience working in a residential treatment facility or sober living environment strongly preferred. Knowledge of addiction recovery principles, relapse prevention strategies, and trauma-informed care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish boundaries with residents. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation. Benefits: Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 per year. Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm schedule, providing a healthy work-life balance.
