The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills and be confident in appearing before court and clients. Bar admission in PA is helpful. Duties:Handle commercial litigation matters related to insurance coverageConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefsRepresent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiationsProvide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding insurance coverage issuesAnalyze insurance policies and interpret coverage provisionsPrepare coverage opinions and coverage position lettersCollaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriersManage discovery processes, including document production and depositionsDevelop case strategies and provide litigation support to senior attorneysMaintain organized case files and documentation Requirements:2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigationBar admission in PA (additional Bar admissions beneficial)Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Bar admission in PA (additional Bar admissions beneficial) Skills:Strong research and writing skillsConfidence in appearing before court and clientsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and accuracyProficiency in legal research databases and litigation software This mid-sized, East Coast law firm has a widely recognized reputation for experience and excellence in litigation.
