Embracing a personal approach to insurance sales gives candidates a leg up in this role, which includes developing strategies for promoting all types of new insurance contracts; making changes or additions to existing ones; and collecting key client information for risk profiles used to identify insurance plans for each unique individual. Responsibilities: • Implement sales strategies and tactics proven effective in maintaining and growing existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients• Ensure bookkeeping systems, sales databases, and customer records are maintained to report progress toward monthly initiatives to stakeholders• Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles• Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish• Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs Qualifications: • Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations• High school diploma mandatory; four-year undergraduate degree strongly preferred• Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required Compensation: $70,000 About Company: We believe that providing excellent customer service and competitive auto, life and property insurance rates are as important today as they were when we started our company nearly 60 years ago.
