Title: Quality Assurance Tester- W2 onlyLocation: RemoteLength: Long termRestriction: w2 or c2c Description: Interview Type: Skype *** Very long term project expect to go for 4+ years ***Remote*** Due to security US Citizens only Description: The Senior Quality Assurance Test Automation Analyst within Enterprise Systems Department (ESD) This role will analyze, design and build automation testing capabilities by converting existing manual test processes. Job Description: The Senior Quality Assurance Test Automation Analyst within Enterprise Systems Department (ESD) primary responsibility will be to build a test automation infrastructure and Framework that leverages DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery aspects and performing a variety of activities relating to various projects and production support for Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). This role will analyze, design and build automation testing capabilities by converting existing manual test processes Key Responsibilities Designing and implementing automated test tools to execute various test cases.Testing product functionality prior to each release on each tier (Dev, Test, QA, Production)Testing the product to verify compliance with business functional and policy requirements,Collaborate with all the project and production support teams in addressing defects to successfully complete the test phase.Developing the master test plan, strategy and test cases documents by identifying appropriate test techniques and tools that ensure product quality and test completion.Facilitating triage of defects and assisting in defect investigation and escalation; and walking through test results with the team and communicating status to management and project leadership.Performs application code testing on components and works to ensure that appropriate implementation standards are met. Requirements: Programming skills using Python (preferred), Javascript (a plus), or other languages like C/C++, Java, or C# with advanced skills in at least one of these languages.Experience designing and evaluating tests for web applications, APIs, and other backend applications.Experience with unit testing, test case development, automated regression testing, and test frameworks (pytest, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, JBehave, Tosca, SoapUI, etc.).Experience with UX/UI testing and browser test automation (Selenium) and performance/load testing (LoadRunner, JMeter, Locust).Experienced with version control such as Gitlab Bitbucket.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Openstack), CI CD, and Agile methodologies.Experience using JIRA and Confluence platforms.Proficiency with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices within DevSecOps.Ability to plan and execute Integration testing with 3rd party systems.Ability to communicate with stakeholders from different levels (e.g. Directors, Managers, Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, etc.)Experience with analytics tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk.Working knowledge of the importance of automation and the correlation to successful testing.Designs, develops, tests, and deploys software solutions and process flows complying with standards, guidelines, and best practices.Familiarity with API Testing including validating data exchange between different software components. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, data analytics or related field experience.Software testing or other applicable Information Technology experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. 10 Years5 years of demonstrated experience using automated testing tools. 5 YearsRead and interpret XML/JSON payloads, working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) and with defect project and defect tracking suite 5 Years
