Job Description WRGB/WCWN is looking for a Director for our Newscast.Responsibilities:Perform any production duties as assigned including: * TD newscasts and other productions using a fully automated control room * Prep and maintain production studio and control room * Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned * Works with producers on rundown preparation and show presentation * Troubleshoot any problems during newscasts. Requirements: * Experience directing newscasts. Experience with robotic cameras, Ross Overdrive, Ross Xpression and iNews a plus * Knowledge of production standards and equipment * Basic knowledge of studio and production equipment such as microphones, IFBs, audio consoles and video switchers * Ability to clearly give direction to crew and talent while under pressure * Typing and good spelling skills * Ability to read and write * College degree preferred * Must be able to lift & position 40 lb. lighting instruments. The base hourly compensation range for this role is $16.35 to $18.75 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
