Senior New Business Development Manager

Description:
Duties: Prospect for new clients across the sectors of consumer goods and retail, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and technology. Manage key accounts with growth potential. Handle initial enquiries from clients. Demonstrate the company's various product and consulting offerings. Negotiate pricing and manage contracting procedures. Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback on new product development. Lead strategic projects such as competitor analysis. Participate in training of and mentoring new hires. Lead Industry Risk Service Sales. Domestic travel is required up to 25% throughout the United States to see clients and prospects, attending conferences, visiting Verisk Offices for training sessions and internal meetings. Telecommuting is permitted. Domestic travel up to 25% of time. Requires a Master's degree in Political Science, Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, or related field; plus 2 years of related experience. Requires 2 years of experience in the following: 1)Business Development, Strategy, and Training; 2)Sales & marketing, client development and training of new sales colleagues; 3)Managing a portfolio of customer accounts: actively developing new business opportunities in the areas of risk management, sustainability, corporate affairs and compliance; 4)Working with clients from a broad range of sectors including global retail & consumer, ICT, automotive, pharmaceuticals and industrial risk industries; 5)Risk issues (including political, security, regulatory, economic, social and environmental issues); 6)Representing an organization in global industry conferences on sustainability and risk management; 7)ESG Risk; 8)SalesForce CRM system; 9)Outreach (sales engagement tool); 10)LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Telecommuting permitted. Domestic travel up to 25% $130,000 per year.
