Company: The Davies Collaborative, LLC Job Site Address: 107 Leland St., Suite 1, Austin, Texas 78704 QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Architecture;- Four years of experience with basic architectural building layout;- Four years of experience with the ability to create attractive architectural diagrams;- Four years of experience with knowledge, and skills regarding the following programs: Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop;- Four years of experience with space planning and programming;- Four years of experience working with integrated software solutions of design, engineering, simulation, and manufacturing; and- Four years of experience with designing innovative applications of advanced materials and technologies. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: - Developing strategies for 3D modeling for projects. This role involves creating work plans, identifying 3D modeling systems and solutions, analyzing staff capabilities, and allocating staff to achieve the 3D model strategy;- Preparing redline changes and revisions throughout the design process. This involves an understanding of all phases of the architectural design process and the depth of knowledge required to perform quality control oriented reviews of the work of other designers;- Construction administration job site observations and reports. This task includes visiting project sites and documenting the progress of the work and also non-conforming work. An understanding of the contract documents and means of construction is required;- Leading design presentation meetings and developing content for presentations;- Managing the production of construction documents including plans, elevations, and details;- Organizing and maintaining project files;- Leading the selection process for building materials including code compliance research;- Analyzing client needs and developing and proposing programmatic approaches and design concepts.
