The attorney will be responsible for drafting legal documents, developing litigation strategies, and representing clients in wage and hour matters in both state and federal courts. This role involves being part of a litigation team, participating in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral advocacy skills and a commitment to excellence. Duties:Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsDeveloping strategies to litigate wage and hour matters in state and federal courtsParticipating in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations as part of a litigation teamDeveloping persuasive research, writing, and oral advocacy skills under the mentorship of senior attorneys Requirements:Admission to the California State Bar is mandatoryLaw degree from an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school1+ years of experience specializing in employment litigation and wage-and-hour casesStrong written and oral advocacy skillsExcellent academic credentialsInterpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar Skills:Experience in employment litigation and wage-and-hour casesStrong legal research and writing skillsAbility to develop effective litigation strategiesExcellent oral advocacy skillsAttention to detail and analytical thinkingInterpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Benefits Offered:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
