Contract Administrator Location: Remote Job ID: #69036 Pay Range: $35-41/hr W2 12 monthsSummary This position is for an experienced Contracts professional, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Customer facing role responsible for various pre-award activities and an integral part of the value stream. Performs proposals activities in accordance with internal and external requirements including negotiations and finalization of contracts. Makes process improvements to enhance organization standard work and compliance effectiveness performance.Primary Responsibilities: * Generates, interprets, and manages large multifaceted proposals and contracts, in accordance with internal standard work instructions and external customer requirements, to ensure compliance with business objectives and regulations. * Assesses, interprets, and reviews documents to ensure that contracts are negotiated within agreed-upon parameters, including government procurement and cost control guidelines. * Advises and represents the contracts organization on contractual requirements. * Works closely with internal functional groups to support contracts negotiations with customers and execute contracts agreements in a timely manner. * Prepares reports for internal functional groups review and approval. * Participates in meetings to ensure all relevant functional groups understand the contractual requirements. * Manages the interface between internal and external customers and helps resolve contractual matters. * Prepares contract status reports for internal use and/or external customers. * Manages encumbered outstand accounts receivable issues. * Manage small projects, process improvements, including CORE initiatives.Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 5 plus years of relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 7 plus years of relevant experience is required Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in the Aerospace Industry * Previous Contracts, Supply Chain or Procurement experience * SAP experience * Experience with FAR 12 and FAR 15 contracting - Commercial Item background * Experience with FAR and DFARS regulations * Experience working with government contracts, writing proposal and negotiations * Experience with customer interfacing for contracts and negotiations, and agreement (NDA's, MOU's, MOA's, etc.) * Able to perform in a fast-paced environment * Able to multi-task and set daily goals Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
