Location: Joel Wellness Clinic Position: Medical Assistant / MA Job description / Position Description: Will involve scheduling, receiving patients, initial screening/vitals, documentation, EMR chart updates, patient medication/tests, calls follow up. Performs other office duties as assigned and works within the scope of MA certification. Must demonstrate good work-related ability and compassion, with a desire to grow long-term with the practice. Must show efficiency and a willingness to learn and ensure HIPAA compliance at the workplace. Seeking experienced candidates with the following qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent. Previous experience with Athena EMR is a plus Phlebotomy skill strongly preferred Competitive pay offered. Part Time and Full Time position. Benefits negotiable from Jan 2024 Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours : 10 - 35 per week Medical specialties: Bariatrics Internal Medicine Primary Care Schedule:Day shift Work setting:Clinic In-person License/Certification: Certified Medical Assistant/ BLS Cert is a plus (Preferred)Please note this position is posted on behalf of our partner practices.
