Compensation: Hourly Rate: $28.20POSITION SUMMARY: This position will require a self-directed, team oriented individual who takes pride and ownership in his/her work, and is willing to accept total responsibility for the performance on his/her shift. This individual mustpossess forklift high stack experienceloading and unloading finished goods. Must beable to demonstrate their ability to produce quality product at levels that will allow the plant to meet or exceed its goals and objectives. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Some positions will require working in very hot and humid conditions both insideand outside of facility when working in warehouse environment and will require wearing protective PPE (Protective Equipment), Most positions are located in areas with loud noise and will require the employee to wear protective ear plugs. Must be able to work any shift. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as required. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED preferredFood industry experience preferredComputer controls (screens, keyboard) skillsMath and record keeping skillsMust possess a solid mechanical aptitude combined with technical training and/or the equivalent in manufacturing experience (preferably in food manufacturing).Demonstrate creative troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbalCandidate must be 18 years of age or olderMust be able to work any shiftMust have high stacking experienceMust be willing to work weekends and overtime as requiredRequirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. These include: Occasional Standing, walking, and lifting Frequent Bending, Stooping, Squatting, Pushing and Pulling Occasional Ladder climbing Periodic lifting of up to 50lbs Primary Duties Select stock in accordance with shipping documents and deliver to proper location. Stack pallets of goods, unstack, load, unload railcars. Double stack of finished goods to location in warehouse. Elevate ,load, and deposit on top stack (4 to 5 high) both inside and out.
