Do you want to lead and run your own cases with a supporting team behind you? Then this is the opportunity for you. This is a full-time hybrid role as an Associate Attorney at Fait & DiLima, LLP. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and performing research, as well as negotiating and litigating on behalf of clients in family law cases. Responsibilities: --- Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients --- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently --- Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys --- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings Qualifications: --- Sense of Humor --- Strong knowledge of Family Law and Legal Research --- Excellent negotiation and communication skills --- Ability to provide effective legal advice --- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills --- Ability to work independently and collaboratively About Company: Fait & DiLima, LLP is a law firm located in Rockville, MD, specializing in family law matters in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
