We are looking for a highly skilled therapist to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of our addiction program including group therapy, family therapy and individual therapy. Please only apply if you can meet schedule and requirements below. Required experience: Looking for AMFT and/or LMFT with Experience in the Substance Abuse/Mental Health field preferred. Psychodynamic and/or Family system modality experience required. Must be able to manage case load of 10 to 12.Qualifications:AMFT or Licensed. (Required)Recent Health Screen/Physical (Required)TB Clearance (Required)Current CPR/First Aid Certification (Required)Proof of COVID19 Vaccination (Required)Live Scan (Required for Mental Health locations - Applicants must have the ability to pass a FBI and Department of Justice criminal background clearance.)Valid Driver LicenseDuties and Responsibilities:Reports to Clinical Director and/or Program DirectorConduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for Residential clientsParticipate in case management and care coordination, including utilization reviews and treatment team meetingsMaintain appropriate and timely contact with referring professionalsDetailed and timely documentation, including: biopsychosocial assessment, weekly goal setting and treatment planning, session progress notes, discharge reporting/recommendationsParticipate in collaborative therapeutic, work environmentBenefits:Starting Salary Based on ExperienceComprehensive medical benefits for Full-TimeAkua Behavioral Health is a nationally recognized Mental Health, and Substance Abuse treatment program for adults.
