Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney for their Minneapolis, MN, office.Job Overview:The Senior Attorney will communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties verbally and in writing. They will produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, reply to correspondence, and meet deadlines consistently. The candidate must foster positive work relationships, comply with firm policies, and engage in various activities, including digital/virtual conference calls and attending meetings. The role requires physical and sedentary activities, such as extended computer work. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts, excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court. Candidates with multi-district litigation experience are preferred; trial experience is a plus.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce high-quality deliverables and respond to correspondence promptly.Meet deadlines consistently and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work and virtual meetings.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience conducting and defending depositions.Experience managing a case docket.Experience appearing in court.Preferred: Experience with multi-district litigation.Trial experience is a plus.Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Bar admission in the state of Minnesota.Skills:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
