Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly qualified Senior Attorney to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in civil litigation, exceptional research and writing skills, and a proven track record of success in managing case dockets and appearing in court.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:Minimum 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience conducting and defending depositions.Proficiency in managing a case docket.Proven track record of appearing in court.Experience handling multi-district litigation is a plus.Trial experience is preferred.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional research and analytical abilities.Proficiency in case docket management.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive work relationships.
