We are seeking a Sr Technical Writer with a knack for network design architecture workflows, Visio diagram mapping, and creating a library of reusable network procedure documents. This is your chance to be part of our innovative Solutions team at our global media client. Imagine working closely with network engineers and transforming complex network architectures into clear, concise, and engaging documentation. Picture yourself creating Visio diagrams that map out intricate workflows, and building a library of reusable network procedure documents that will shape the future of network events. This role requires experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and Visio.You'll be at the heart of this project to create lasting and reusable documentation around network designs and architecture, mapping operational processes across different use cases and events, and creating a library of reusable network procedure documents. The work schedule is standard office hours, with a hybrid model that requires onsite work several times /week in our client's Stamford Connecticut location.If you have what it takes and you want to contribute to an exciting global media company with some amazing events we'd love to hear from you!Responsibilities * Work closely with network engineers to understand network design architectures and workflowsParticipate in meetings with stakeholders to understand how network design architectures and workflows should be documented * Develop and maintain clear and concise written documentation of network design architectures and workflows using Microsoft Word * Create Visio diagrams to map network design architectures and workflows * Build a library of reusable network procedure documents for ongoing and future network events * Ensure accuracy and completeness of all written documentation and diagrams * Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure all documentation meets their needs * Continuously improve documentation based on feedback from stakeholders * Edit and proofread technical documents and diagrams to ensure they are free of errors * Manage multiple writing projects simultaneouslyRequirements * At least 5 years of experience as a technical writer within Enterprise IT environments, preferably with a focus on network design architecture * Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and Visio * Excellent writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner * Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Visio to create technical documents and diagrams * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work closely with technical experts to understand their findings * Strong organizational and time management skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Experience working in creative, media or entertainment environment is preferred * Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, journalism or related fieldAdditional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $50- $68/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations.
