Job Description SNI has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company near Waterbury who is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team. Responsibilities include: * Analyze current manufacturing state and develop action plans using Lean techniques to drive faster changeovers, reduce errors, standardize processes, decrease downtime, and increase OEE * Manage Continuous Improvement Projects, lead initiatives, provide updates, set goals, establish priorities, and manage project resources * Utilize Lean principles to design and implement new manufacturing processes, methodologies, and equipment layouts to enhance overall equipment effectiveness * Evaluate plant performance relative to goals and adjust action plans accordingly * Possess a strong understanding of Lean principles, Manufacturing, and Injection Molding floor operations * Analyze process flow and value stream layouts, offering recommendations for improvement * Identify and implement modifications to enhance efficiencies and overall plant performance * Optimize manufacturing processes and equipment, including addressing product non-conformance and root cause analysis * Support the development and improvement of Technical Operating Instructions * Design and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment, including documentation and training * Support new automation initiatives and provide lead support post-launch Desired Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing * 3 to 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience * Six Sigma training and experience * Ownership and accountability for areas of responsibility * Effective communication skills across all organizational levels * Ability to develop and manage project timelines and budgets * Experience with plastic injection molding * Proficiency in software tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Solidworks * Experience with automation projects and PLC programming is a plus Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off (13+ days and 10 company holidays) * Professional development assistance * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Job Requirements
