The Asheville, NC location for Blossman Gas has an immediate opening for the entry-level position of Branch Office Specialist. Blossman Gas remains a private employer offering competitive pay, annual pay increases based on performance, achievable bonus structures, and ongoing professional growth.The Branch Office Specialist's primary duties are: * embrace company values; regularly perform administrative and mechanical duties in a safe, friendly manner * communicate company offerings and services enthusiastically to walk-in customers and those contacting us by telephone * regularly inspect then fill 20, 30, and 100 lb cylinders used by customers for grills, RV's, temp heat, forklifts, and other uses * do regular work to keep the showroom, warehouse, and tank yard clean, organized, and operable * help the branch with all workplace organization efforts * conduct regular work on the computer to support the branch's daily work flow and customer-care efforts * occasionally help with gas piping installations for new construction homes and businessesRegular bending, lifting, and pulling are daily motions that will be conducted safely using proper methods. Regular use of hand tools will be a part of the daily routine.Key Qualifications include:1. High school diploma; an Associate's degree or a trade-related certificate is often helpful and applicable2. Pass pre-employment checks including criminal background, MVR and drug screening3. Professional; friendly; seeks to grow with an established company but realistic about a timeframe to obtain that growth4. Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Excel); organized; solid communication skills5.
