The ideal candidate will have extensive experience litigating wage and hour class and/or collective action claims under the Colorado Wage Act and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). They should also possess experience interpreting regulations, rules, and guidance materials from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division. Strong writing and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, are essential for this role. Duties:Litigate wage and hour class and/or collective action claimsInterpret Colorado Wage Act and FLSA regulations, rules, and guidance materialsDraft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requestsDraft and argue motions, including motions to decertify a conditional classTake and defend depositionsManage multiple projects simultaneouslyProvide legal counsel and representation to clients on wage and hour matters Requirements:4+ years of experience in litigating wage and hour claimsExtensive knowledge of Colorado Wage Act and FLSA regulationsExcellent academic credentialsStrong writing and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the Colorado State Bar Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writingStrong oral advocacy skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in a team environment Benefits offered:Medical, dental, and vision benefitsGenerous paid time offPaid parental leave401(k) with carve-out election and profit sharingLife insurance and long-term disability coverageEmployee assistance program Nationally-known as one of the largest labor and employment law,firms, this firm has offices throughout the United States and partners with a network of lawyers on six continents to provide the highest quality service around the globe.
