Pathways for Change Counseling Center is actively seeking a licensed therapist who will enjoy working with middle and high school students in-person, in an academically rigorouse private school setting up to 15 hours per week to join our team. This position is for the 2024-2025 school year. The school year begins in September and ends in early May. The hours the therapist must be available are between 8:30AM and 3PM two to possibly three weekdays. The school is located within ten miles of our Emmaus offices. This is a W-2 position. The candidate will need to have all necessary clearances and criminal background checks up to date.This position requires the therapist to report directly to the school, where your schedule is created for you by the school's nursing director with whom you will work very closely with. You will have a private office where you will meet with the students. The qualified candidate will provide counseling for students referred to you. Our office staff will provide support to you via all insurance credentialing, billing, and acting as liaison when needed between our practice, the school, and the clients. You will be responsible for developing a treatment plan for each student, and writing progress notes daily to completion. The school is very supportive in providing our therapists what they need (supplies, resources, assistance) to provide the best therapy to their students. This is a wonderful position for any therapist who is looking to fill in their schedule with some day time hours. This is a W-2 position and the hourly pay is very competitive. The students are all very appreciative of this service and really look forward to attending their sessions. While this position is part-time at the school, there is potential for the right candidate interested in working additional hours in our private practice setting, to create a full time-position, with all the benefits, at Pathways For Change.
