Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and guest dietary restrictions- Assist with menu planning and recipe development- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage and labeling of food items- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards- Assist with inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely meal service- Follow instructions from Head Chef and other senior kitchen staff- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments on boardRequirements:- Previous experience as a cook in a professional kitchen, preferably in a high-volume setting- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and ability to follow recipes accurately- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on a cruise ship
