Stage Technician

Description:
Key Respo nsibilities: - Set up and operate all technical equipment for live shows and events, including lighting, sound, and video systems onboard the cruise ship - Collaborate with the production team to ensure all technical aspects of the show are executed according to plan- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during rehearsals or performances- Maintain and repair equipment as needed to ensure smooth operation- Assist with the load-in and load-out of equipment at each port of call- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others- Keep detailed records of all technical equipment and supplies, and assist with inventory management- Train and supervise other crew members on the proper use and handling of technical equipment- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our shows and eventsRequiremenst:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Stage Technician in a live entertainment setting- Strong working knowledge of lighting, sound, and video equipment and systems- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and work schedule- Flexibility to travel and work on a cruise ship for extended periods of time- Technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred
