Description:
Shift: 2nd shift (3-1130pm) Position Objective: Efficiently fulfill orders and prepare them for shipping with precision. Responsibilities: Operate Forklift safely to accurately assemble orders for shipment according to customer specifications as directed by shipping coordinator or management. Conduct visual inspections to ensure parts match specified part numbers and meet basic quality standards. Verify all labeling and part numbers for accuracy. Implement stock rotation to adhere to first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles. Safely load and unload trucks using forklift equipment. Complete all essential paperwork accurately. Interpret and follow instructions and established procedures effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation. Participate in cross-training across various areas as needed. Fulfill other duties as assigned or necessary. Qualifications: Proficient in basic mathematics. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Competent in counting and utilizing scales. Proficient in understanding spoken and written English. Prior experience operating a forklift is required. Flexible to work overtime as needed. Capable of comprehending and executing written and verbal instructions. High School Diploma or equivalent qualification MUST HAVE HILO CERTIFICATION. Physical Requirements: Able to stand or sit for extended periods (8+ hours daily). Capable of continual hand, wrist, and arm movement. Able to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects. Comfortable lifting 30 pounds or more repeatedly. Flexible to bend, stoop, and walk frequently. Working Conditions: Operate within a temperature-controlled facility. Required Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses must be worn at all times. Utilize safety gloves and non-slip work shoes. Use earplugs as necessary.
