Description:
Position Purpose:Responsible for heat-treating brake shoes.Hourly Pay Range: $15.50 - $18.00Essential Functions: * Manually loads parts into the fixture and verifies quality of parts * Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplaceEducation and Training * Keeps work area clean at all times * Works in a safe manner at all times * Other job duties may be assigned by supervisorMinimum Qualifications * Good communication skills * Must be able to work independently * Ability to work well with others Physical Demands * Must be able to lift 15lbs repeatedly at shoulder height or above * Must be able stand continuously for 8 -12 hrs * Ability to bend, twist and lift repetitively * Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulationsEnvironmental Conditions * Ear and Eye protection required at all times in production areas * Exposure to noisy work environment * Exposure to hot steel * Exposure to fumes * Exposure to hot and humid conditions * Exposure to welding arc * Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water * Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all timesHendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
