Supervisor, Program Management : Assessment and Accreditation

Summary The position supports the education mission of the National School of Tropical Medicine (NSTM) and reports directly to the Associate Dean. In addition, the position supports the assessment and reaffirmation efforts of the College to ensure NSTM comply with all accreditation standards. The primary purpose of the role is to support the education mission of NSTM and ensure all education programs run smoothly in terms of logistics (e.g., applications, admissions, lecture scheduling, billing, course evaluation) and student learning experience. This role interacts with other administrative staff members, students, faculty members and assistant and associate deans. The person hired must be a good team player and willing to help wherever the needs arise. The ideal candidate has a masters degree in education, counseling or psychology and five years of leadership/supervisory experience in higher education. The ideal candidate has experience in assessment, accreditation, policy review/interpretation, report preparation, program evaluation and survey research. This position is eligible to work a hybrid work arrangement within the Greater Houston, TX area. Job Duties:Supervise the day:to:day operations (e.g., applications, admissions, website updates, lectures scheduling, billing, student inquiry replies, student record maintenance, diploma and certificate issuance, and credentials verification) of all education programs.:Manage response to inquiries from potential applicants regarding the curriculum, program requirements, NSTM and BCM policies and regulations.:Manage the collection and maintenance of lecture material (e.g., speakers schedules, lecture presentation slides, recorded lectures).:Compose narratives and provide supporting documentation to ensure compliance with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) during reaffirmation.:Work with Associate Dean to develop and update policies and procedures; recommend changes to policies and procedures; publish policy and procedures.:Work with course directors to evaluate programs to improve student outcomes; provide analyses (e.g., item analysis) of student performance, course evaluations and student comments (e.g., quantitative and qualitative analysis); identify specific areas for improvement; recommend changes to assistant dean to improve student learning experience and outcomes.:Contribute actively to the strategic planning process and improvement efforts; develop measurable goals and criteria for success (e.g., enrollment targets), document progress and report results on a regular basis.:Project enrollment and tuition and fees revenue for education programs.:Supervise program management and support staff to ensure all tasks are carried out and completed in a timely manner and according to established policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED.:Four years of relevant experience.
