J2EE/AWS Developer Positions

J2EE/AWS Developer Positions with Nike/Infosys - Beaverton, OR (Remote for now) Please share profiles for the below positions ASAP. Max bill rate is $70/hr all inclusive on C2C. Sr. Software Engineer : 1 position Will be working on: --- Identifying and solving a range of problems in straightforward situations; analyzing possible solutions and assessing each using standard procedures --- Responding to requests from internal and/or external customers; investigating with assistance from others as needed --- Understanding the key business drivers; using this knowledge in your own work --- cting as a subject matter expert to system owners on industry standards and best practices for software engineering --- Engineering systems and tools that provide actionable performance insights to engineers and leadership --- Handling of Big Data and Data Science Tools in AWS to extract meaningful insights --- Working with analytics tools, such as: New Relic, Splunk, Adobe Analytics --- Data visualization tools, such as: D3 with NodeJS, Grafana, Kibana. Looking for: --- Total IT exp: 8 to 9+ yrs --- 3 - 5 years' experience in building cloud-based enterprise systems, ideally on AWS --- Experience working within a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment (Jira preferred) --- Proficient with JavaScript on frontend (React, TypeScript, etc.) and backend (Node.js) components --- Experience with test driven automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment (Jenkins preferred) --- Experience with Docker and/or serverless patterns --- Experience with AWS Lambda development a plus --- Experience with AWS: S3, Kinesis, CloudWatch development a plus --- Expertise in designing and building scalable applications --- Expertise in NoSQL datastore systems to build highly scalable solutions (ElasticSearch preferred) --- Experience with expertise in other modern enterprise languages (Python, Java, etc.) --- Experience with GitHub or other version control system. SW Engineer II : 2 positions Will be working on: --- Be part of a mission critical team focused on building a high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant supply chain platform that drive Digital transformation and growth strategies. --- Serve as a technical leader for the software engineering team. --- Rely on an understanding of scalable, highly available, and consistent distributed systems. --- Partner with engineers, architects, and other teams to ensure that the ecosystem of services remains loosely coupled and independently scalable. --- Design and develop RESTful API's following domain-driven design. --- Utilize experience in using inversion of control and creating infrastructure via code. --- Remain current with industry trends and participate in development of key innovation features. --- Have strong communication skills, solve complex problems, and being a team player is key. Looking for: --- Total IT exp: 8 to 9+ yrs --- 4+ years of platform engineering experience --- Delivery excellence in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment --- Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, GCE, Rackspace, Azure etc.) --- Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable web applications. --- Experience in micro service architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, Scala etc. --- Experience working with NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB etc. --- Experience working with relational data stores like MySQL, Oracle etc. --- Experience with monitoring and tracing tools like Splunk, SignalFx, New Relic etc. --- Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. --- Continuous delivery experience preferred. --- Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles. --- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. --- Comfortable working with globally distributed and diverse team. --- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. --- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent experience.
