Performs data entry responsibilities. The Core Lab Coordinator is involved in more complex processing which could include, but not limited to Microbiology processing, frozen splits, send-outs, Cytology processing, etc. Specific functions will require additional access in the laboratory computer system.Responsibilities:1. Coordinates phlebotomy communications for day to day2. Performs add-on's for Chemistry3. Coordinates the send out area for reference lab testing4. Specimen processing5. Collaborates and communicates with departmental and system-wide staff, supervisory and management personnel, physicians, patients, and with various outisde referral representatives to facilitate timely and effective actions and decisions.6. Performs other duties as requested7. Operates and/or maintains departmental equipment and work areas8. Performs laboratory tests and procedures as requiredOther information:1. Associates Degree in a Science related field2. Registry (or eligibility) as a phlebotomist or Science related field3. Specialty Certification preferred4. 1 year of health care experience.
