Network Engineer Colorado Springs, CO *Clearance: *Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph needed to apply--- Company Overview: Cornerstone Defense is the Employer of Choice within the Intelligence, Defense, and Space communities of the U.SGovernmentRealizing early on that our most prized assets are our employees, we continually focus our attention on improving the overall work/life experience they have supporting the missionOur Team is pushed every day to use their industry leading knowledge to provide end-to-end solutions to combat our nation's toughest and most secure problemsIf you are looking for a place to not only be professionally challenged, but encouraged and supported by a company that cares, don't look any further than Cornerstone DefenseWe are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a network infrastructureThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of the network while ensuring that security is maintained at all timesResponsibilities:--- Design, implement and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.--- Implement and manage software-defined networks such as NSX and Neutron.--- Manage and configure RADIUS servers for user authentication and authorization.--- Manage and configure BGP routing protocol for internal and external networks.--- Implement and manage firewall policies and access control lists to ensure network security in a classified environment.--- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability and reliability.--- Troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions to minimize downtimeRequired Skills:--- Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN, software-defined networks (NSX or Neutron), RADIUS, BGP, firewall policy, and access control lists in a classified environment.--- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools in a classified environment.--- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.--- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.--- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
