Additional Information About the Role BJC Now Has Daily Pay! Part Time Role with 24 Hours a Week Primary Hours will be about 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. However, this is a smaller facility and some flexibility will be required. Will do a variety of task in Patient Meals, Cafeteria, and Kitchen Part Time Benefits Eligible Rotating Weekends and Holidays Overview Opened in 2007, Progress West Hospital is BJC HealthCare's newest hospital in St. Charles County, featuring modern private rooms. It offers 24-hour emergency services and has partnered with St. Louis Children's Hospital to provide world-class pediatric emergency care. Progress West Hospital also provides surgical services, endoscopy services, a cardiac catheterization lab, medical/surgical inpatient services, diagnostic imaging, lab services, and the Advanced Wound Center, a specialty wound treatment facility with state-of-the-art equipment. Progress West Hospital recently completed an expansion of its Childbirth Center to include enhanced services for at-risk mothers and babies, with a newborn ICU that provides care for babies born as early as 32 weeks.Progress West Hospital is a Certified Level II Stroke Center. The hospital's medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for performing a variety of food service functions such as setting up of service areas with food, utensils, and garnishments, food portioning, serving, sanitation, operating cash register, assembling patient trays and assisting with customer requests. Position may also perform food preparation at some locations. Responsibilities Provides customer service in a professional and friendly manner, and follows food safety and portion guidelines. Assembles meals according to the menu, diet order and correct protocol. Ensures work area is set up and supplies and products are organized before, during and after shift. Cleans and sanitizes work station and utensils. Uses equipment and materials properly and safely.
