Additional Information About the Role Up to a $2300 Sign On Bonus 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5 pm Day Shift Monday - Friday; No Weekends, Holidays or On-Call Farmington, MO. MUST HAVE skills for this position: dx skills, ability to multi-task, be team-oriented, ability to reach out for assistance when needed, able to establish rapport quickly with others, non-judgmental, computer and technology skills a must. Job responsibilities: Triage screening persons walking into Same Day Access locations. Screening for mental health and substance use issues. Completing intake assessments for persons being referred for mental health services. Example of a typical Day: Attendance at SDA Readiness Huddle, communication via Teams platform regarding persons needing services, triage and assessment for persons walking into SDA. Completion of intakes and intake documentation. Most common challenges: Persons are new to agency and are walking into the agency for services. It is never known how persons will present and what issues they are having. Overview BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Franois, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system. The program is designed to help prevent incarceration or re-incarceration of juveniles and address previously unidentified and untreated mental health concerns. The program offers mental health treatment, creative interventions, and support and coordinati Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Clinical Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to maximize opportunities available to people living in the community who are trying to recover from the catastrophic effects of a serious mental illness. Responsibilities Authorizes, coordinates, monitors, and adjusts services with contract providers. Identifies, develops, and maintains good relationships and linkages with a wide range of community resources. Ensures follow through with appointments by assisting clients to keep appointments. Provides collaborative clinical case management services.
