Experienced Staff Accountant (Remote) Location Blue Ash, Ohio (Remote Opportunity) Position Overview Seeking an experienced Staff Accountant who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial workplace. The opportunity requires a strong self-starter with solid organizational and time management skills. The position involves daily interaction with QuickBooks across multiple entities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in being involved in a wide range of accounting transactions. Key Responsibilities • Assist Accounting Team in executing Month-End Close process for multiple entities• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and monthly account reconciliations• Work with operational leadership to ensure timely and proper recording and coding of invoices• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish and maintain appropriate internal control environment• Perform Monthly/Quarterly/Annual variance analysis comparing Actuals to Prior Periods and Budget and/or Forecast estimates• Work closely with external parties including Tax Accountants and Regulatory Authorities ensuring timely delivery of requests • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiency • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as needed for leadership team Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively• 4+ Years of progressive accounting experience• Proficiency working in MS Excel and other MS Office tools• High level of comfort working in QuickBooks • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles• Critical thinker with high level of professionalism and integrity• Must pass all background checks required for role including drug screening Compensation & Benefits • $65,000+ annually with up to 10% bonus potential• Health Insurance, 401(k), Paid Holidays, Vacation & Personal Time Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Guttman Properties provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected classification.
