Firearms OTR Driver Rock Island Auction Company (RIAC), the #1 firearms auction house in the world, is searching for professional and reliable part-time O ver-the-Road (OTR) Driver. NO CDL REQUIRED! With passion and knowledge for guns (and safety!), the OTR Driver maximizes earning potential for special bonuses by traveling across the country with assigned co-driver to transport guns and historic auction items while hearing stories first-hand and experiencing adventure. Click here to check out RIAC's hiring video! Part-time OTR driver travels across the country (with assigned co-driver) to pick up auction items and deliver safely back to RIAC. What does a typical day for the RIAC driver look like? While there is typically no mundane and monotonous work, OTR driver can expect the following: Traveling between RIAC facilities and client locations for pickup and delivery; and Handling and ensuring safe loading and unloading of collectible firearms and bladed weapons in addition to other military and historic collectibles. How many OTR days can the RIAC driver expect? Part-time OTR driver completes one (1) long trip per month with an average of 8-10 consecutive days, but actual length of trip may vary. Why work for RIAC? While OTR, all meals, lodging, and other relevant expenses are paid for by the company! While at Rock Island location, FREE fountain soda, fruit, oatmeal and treats! BONUS MONEY! 3+ consecutive OTR days = $75 for 3rd day + each consecutive OTR day thereafter 5+ consecutive OTR days = $600 every 5th trip Annual driving bonus of up to $10,000 annually Qualified candidates meet the following requirements: Valid driver’s license; Ability to obtain Texas Class C driver’s license , or equivalent; Ability to pass DOT physical; and Favorable driving record without DUI conviction(s) within the past seven (7) years. Requirements such as Class C Texas driver’s license, DOT physical, and FOID card are paid by the company Rock Island Auction Company has been the #1 firearms auction house in the world every year since 2003.
