We are looking to hire a PAYROLL ASSOCIATE based out of our Pittsburgh, PA office. GREAT BENEFITS PACKAGE!! HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE!! PAID PARKING!! RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide data entry support that is required to update and maintain the integrity of the information in both the payroll and timekeeping systems. Reconcile Payroll reports. Make payments timely and accurately. Enter deduction arrears for any amounts due from employees. Responsible for payroll taxes and fringe reporting. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. SKILLS: Friendly demeanor, professional and businesslike dress and attitude. Excellent written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of diverse individuals. Ability to multi-task and to complete work assignments with interruptions. Attention to detail. Iniative to learn all aspects of payroll. Demonstrate advanced level proficiency in Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word). ------------------------------------------------------- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Associates in Accounting/Business. 2 years experience in a business department using accounting software, spreadsheets and database tools. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Accounting/Business. Experience working with payroll software. Union payroll experience. Vista/Viewpoint software experience Powered by JazzHR
