Pay Grade Starting at 20.50 per hour Position Description Performs a variety of assigned tasks to support an efficient and accurate flow of materials on and off the finishing conveyor line. Job Responsibilities :Prepares parts to be powder coated by masking, sanding or performing any preparation work that is is deemed necessary.:Hangs and removes materials on and off conveyor line while adhering to company safety procedures, operate hoists/lifts as necessary to move parts.:Inspects material on and off conveyor line for obvious defects and report scrap.:Counts and records all parts that are hung prior to and after being put on the conveyor line.:Assists in cleaning powder booth and performing routine maintenance as directed. Performs stock handling duties as required.:Performs other duties as assigned. Job Skills Requirements:Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education High School diplomaGeneral Education Degree Experience Requirements:Entry level position Physical and Environmental Requirements Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25 to 50 lbs/11:27 kgs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs)Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8:12 hours)Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8:12 hours) Briggs and Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides innovative products and diverse power solutions to help people get work done.
