Position Summary This position will be responsible for designing testing plans, cables, fixtures, and procedures to verify requirements of specific programs or products. This position involves working to improve Innoflight’s testing capabilities, mapping product requirements to those capabilities, and expanding testing capability where insufficient. This role will also be responsible for investigating failures, debugging test setups, software, and hardware to identify root cause, and presenting findings to Test Review Boards to resolve issues.Industrialization Test Engineers serve as Integration and Test engineers for programs, working with the hardware and software teams to resolve issues that arise during integration and push the product forward through the release process. Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Identifies testable requirements of a product and develops test plans for validating various features. Writes Design and Acceptance test procedures to be used in engineering development and in the product manufacturing process. Designs test fixtures and cables to verify various features of new and developing products. Works with the Hardware team to design custom test boards and fixtures for integrated product testing. Debugs failures and presents findings at Test Review Boards. Works with the manufacturing operations team to improve test readability and reliability. Collaborates with the hardware and software teams to integrate and test products, and troubleshoot root cause issues that arise. Provides accurate estimates for the development of test features and test procedures. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) is required. 5 or more years’ of experience in similar or related role. Knowledge of laboratory test equipment like Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, or Environmental Test Chambers. Test or similar technical experience working with complex systems. Experience documenting and tracking issues, and presenting findings to others. Experience working with CCA schematics to troubleshoot hardware issues. Knowledge of Linux is a plus. Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. The employee is occasionally required to move, position self, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers, far visual acuity, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Salary Range $90,000-$105,000 Per Year However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
