This role offers the opportunity to play a significant part in complex litigation matters within a supportive and growing team.Duties:Handle all aspects of complex litigation cases, focusing on construction litigation matters.Conduct legal research and writing, including drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Assist with written discovery, electronic discovery, depositions, expert discovery, and mediation.Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, and other court proceedings.Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategies and tactics.Manage client relationships and provide ongoing communication and updates on case progress.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in litigation.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado.3-6 years of experience in complex litigation, preferably with a focus on construction litigation.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience with various litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Preferred Certifications:Certification in Construction Law (e.g., Certification by the American Bar Association) is a plus.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.Familiarity with electronic discovery software and tools.Experience with case management software.Bilingual proficiency is advantageous but not required.A law firm offers a professional work environment, competitive wages, and an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k profit-sharing plan, paid time off, short-term/long-term disability and life insurance, hybrid working arrangements from Denver or Boulder offices, Eco Pass or free parking, and more.
