Description:
- Plan, prepare, and execute sushi menus for our guests on board the cruise ship - Ensure the highest quality and presentation of all sushi dishes- Manage inventory and ordering of all sushi ingredients and supplies- Train and mentor junior sushi chefs and kitchen staff- Maintain a clean and organized work station- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new and innovative sushi dishes- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address any special requests or dietary restrictions- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our sushi offeringsRequirements:- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-volume restaurant or cruise ship setting- Culinary degree or equivalent experience- Knowledge of traditional and contemporary sushi techniques and ingredients- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment- Strong communication and leadership skills- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
