You'll have the opportunity to work with our experienced and varied team to deliver outstanding customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinate expirations with producer to obtain renewal and/or new business information. * Maintain expiration lists. * Assist in marketing new and renewal business by preparing applications, proposals and summaries. * Maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier. * Check new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages, limits, etc. Ensure tha these items are delivered and/or mailed to clients in a timely manner. * Receive phone calls/emails or other correspondence from clients and companies regarding questions or requests and comply with the request and/or refer to the producer when necessary. * Prepare ID cards, evidence of property, certificates, binders, etc. as needed. * Invoice all premium bearing transactions in a timely and accurate manner. * Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, reports, and follow up on overdue and suspense items. * Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines. * Follow all agency policies and procedures in the use and documentation of accounts in the Agency management system. * Other office duties as assigned or requested by Management. * McSherry & Hudson believes in investing in our greatest resource: our employees. * We encourage and support staff to take advantage of opportunities for professional development and skill improvement. * Keep current on forms and coverage changes through circulars, bulletins, and trade publications.QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and Skills: * 5+ years experience working directly with Commercial Lines Insurance policies. * Active P&C license. * Strong work ethic - timely follow-up, team oriented, proactive, detail oriented, and dependable.BENEFITSWe're an equal opportunity employer.
