The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent discipline and familiarity with U.S. and foreign patent prosecution.Duties:Provide patent prosecution services in software and electronics IP.Handle all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution.Conduct research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents related to patent prosecution.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective patent strategies.Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively regarding legal matters.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent discipline.Prior firm experience and registration with the USPTO.2 - 5 years of relevant experience.Familiarity with software and electronics.Experience with health and medicine (preferred).Industry work experience (preferred).Experience with patent litigation (preferred).Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent discipline.Certifications:Registration with the USPTO.Skills:Excellent academic record.Superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral).Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.Creative and strategic approach to prosecution.
