Reporting to the Senior Manager of Attorney Recruiting, West Coast and Central Region, the Attorney Recruiting Manager will be responsible for managing all non-partner attorney recruiting, including law student recruiting, lateral attorney hiring and the summer associate program for the Los Angeles, Century City and Orange County, California offices.This position will be resident in the Los Angeles office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.Key responsibilities of this position include:Partner with the hiring partners and Recruiting Committees in each office to develop and implement recruiting strategies at target and regional law schoolsProvide leadership and supervise the recruiting assistant, as well as other support staff indirectlyDrive efforts to increase firm visibility at target law schoolsDevelop and foster law school career services and search firm relationshipsOversee the interview process, candidate communications, and database management for student and lateral recruiting; Manage the law school on-campus interview process (OCI), including overall strategy, registration, callback and offer/follow-up processOversee the management of the summer associate program, including social events, trainings, assignments, and evaluationsCollaborate with a team of recruiters across all offices to ensure firmwide consistency, and to share resourceful and creative programmingWork with practice group leadership to determine lateral associate hiring needsManage the offer and onboarding process for all non-partner lateral hiresAnalyze recruiting trends and implement strategies to directly source lateral associatesWork with the Director of Attorney Recruiting and Chief Associate Talent Officer on strategic projects as neededEnsure compliance with the firm's hiring policies and AAP guidelinesEstablish and maintain the recruiting department budgetExperience and qualifications needed to perform this job successfully:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of law firm recruiting or related campus recruiting experienceDemonstrated ability to manage all aspects of campus/student recruiting programsAbility to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clientsTeam player who is committed to superior standards of professionalism and productivityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCapacity to work well under pressureDiscretion in dealing with confidential informationDetail-oriented work manner, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a teamProactive and flexible approach, and willingness to adjust to changing prioritiesFlexibility to occasionally travel outside of the Southern California area, attend events and to work hours as needed to meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointExperience with ViRecruit and Symplicity is preferredQualified candidates can apply online by visiting our website at www.morganlewis.com and selecting "Careers."#LI-Hybrid#LI-DT1For positions in Los Angeles, CA, the salary range for this job posting is $104,494.00 - $167,190.25.The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
