The successful candidate will be pivotal in advising and representing clients on all cybersecurity and incident response matters.Job Overview:Advise and represent clients on cybersecurity and incident response matters.Navigate the complex landscape of cyber threats and data protection regulations.Provide creative solutions to legal challenges in cybersecurity and data privacy.Duties:Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on cybersecurity and incident response strategies.Assist in drafting and negotiating cybersecurity-related agreements and policies.Conduct legal research on cybersecurity and data privacy laws and regulations.Represent clients in litigation and regulatory matters related to cybersecurity incidents.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop comprehensive cybersecurity strategies.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.Membership to the CA State Bar.Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Outstanding oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Membership to the CA State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy laws and regulations.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Benefits:Full elective health benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Robust mental well-being benefits.Child, family, elder, and pet care benefits.Short- and long-term disability benefits.Health savings account (with applicable medical plan), flexible spending accounts, and long-term care insurance.401K program.Flexible Time Off program.Generous Parental leave benefits.Paid holidays.
