Salary Range: $65k - $80k+ Permanent Position with Benefits. Wooster, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire a skilled Quality Assurance Manager to monitor all processes and inspections for compliance to standards. REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree preferred) Four-Year College Engineering, Engineering Technology or Technical Degree (and/or related experience) Experience in an industrial environment is preferred, entry level candidates with high degree of schooling in manufacturing quality control management will be considered Maintain the quality control department personnel, training requirements, procedures, records and analysis Investigate problems and formulate corrective actions Assist with design reviews and evaluations of new products Perform formal and informal internal audits Interview and train quality control employees as needed Plan, assign, and lead quality team, oversee performance of employees in the quality department Familiar with vulcanized rubber, polyester, textile fibers / plastic, and paper products manufacturer for the electrical, automotive, medical, aerospace, military, and packaging industries is a plus Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Possible occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
