Orion Talent, the nation's largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for a Maintenance Supervisor position with the world's leading consumer packaged meats, largest pork processor, and hog producer is committed to providing good food in a responsible way. Position Details Location: St. Charles, IL Compensation: $85K-$95K + 10% Target Bonus (Average $20K in overtime annually) + $10K Sign-on + 6/7 day work bonuses Shift: 1st Shift; M-F (Some weekends) Benefits: Comprehensive Corporate Benefits Package; Relocation Available Position Description As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a group of Maintenance Electricians and Mechanics in support of building and equipment maintenance and repair. You will determine strategies to reduce downtime and keep product flow and production lines running at maximum efficiency. Other responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance systems associated with High Performing Manufacturing Organizations such as Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, etc. as well as interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and assisting in providing appropriate resolutions. Position Requirements --- Ideal for current/former military leaders, especially nuclear-trained technicians, who possess outstanding electrical/electronic troubleshooting abilities with controls understanding/experience with solid mechanical aptitude/general technical acumen. --- History of success to include your work performance, schooling, promotion paths, and ability to excel against your peers and candidates for these roles. --- Be willing to share skills to help others develop, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing a high level of detail and pride towards system & equipment maintenance work, projects, and programs with a focus on safe operations. --- Food industry experience a big plus.
