Nelson-Young Lumber Company , a family-owned and operated business with third and fourth-generation family members actively involved in the business is seeking Yard Staff personnel, at our Edgerton, WI location. Job Duties: Load and unload building materials at job sites and at the yard Put away delivered building materials Help customers locate materials in the yard and help them load their vehicles Cut lumber stock for customer orders Assist with facility maintenance, including snow removal, mowing, etc. Equipment Used: Forklifts Table saws Physical Requirements: Sitting – maximum 1 hour at a time during deliveries Walking/Standing – the majority of the day is spent moving about the yard completing various tasks Lifting/Carrying (often done on uneven ground) - up to 25 pounds on a regular continuous basis; 25 – 50 pounds on a frequent basis; 50 – 100 pounds on an occasional basis Work in an outdoor environment Qualifications include: High school education or equivalent Ability to pass a drug test Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday Nelson-Young Lumber Co. has lumber yard locations in Edgerton, Evansville and Deerfield WI.
